The aim of training at the Institute of Disaster Management is to train disaster managers who, employed by full-time professional, local governmental or industrial fire brigades, are capable of carrying out tasks related to disaster management, fire protection (firefighting) and industrial safety and who have the necessary knowledge of legislation, standards, principles, procedures and tools applied in disaster, fire protection and industrial safety management.
